## Frequently Asked Questions
**1. Is this a genuine Cartier gasket?**
No. It is a compatible aftermarket replacement, not original, but precisely sized for Ballon Bleu models.
**2. How do I choose the correct size for my watch?**
Measure the inner groove diameter of your case back (or the outer diameter of the original gasket). Common Ballon Bleu case sizes: 28mm, 33mm, 36mm, 42mm. Consult the seller for size options.
**3. Will the original water resistance be restored after installation?**
Water resistance depends on the gasket, installation, and other seals (crown, pushers). With proper installation, everyday splash resistance (30-50m) can be restored. A water resistance test is recommended.
**4. What should I pay attention to during installation?**
Clean the groove and gasket before installation. Apply a small amount of silicone grease to the gasket. Press it evenly into the groove, then tighten the case back screws diagonally.
**5. How often should the gasket be replaced?**
Rubber gaskets age naturally. Replace every 2-3 years or whenever you notice hardening, cracks, or loss of elasticity during service.
