How to Use the Bergeon 7055 Lubri-Gaskets Box:
Preparation: Ensure the foam cushions are properly impregnated with silicone grease (pre-impregnated from factory) .
Place the Gasket: Open the box and place the gasket (O-ring or flat gasket) onto one of the foam cushions.
Close and Turn: Close the lid securely and rotate the box a half-turn in both directions (left and right) . This action distributes the silicone grease evenly across the gasket surface.
Remove and Install: Remove the lubricated gasket and install it into the watch case.
Re-impregnating the Foam Cushions:
When the foam cushions dry out, they can be re-impregnated using compatible silicone grease such as Bergeon 4509 Silicone Grease 7 .
Other compatible greases include UT18 N, Jismaa green/blue, and Molykote .
After Each Use:
Wipe any excess grease from the box edges before closing
Store the box with the lid securely closed to prevent dust contamination
Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
When to Re-impregnate:
The foam cushions feel dry to the touch
Gaskets no longer receive adequate lubrication after the half-turn process
Typically after 100 gasket lubrications
Re-impregnation Process:
Apply a few drops of compatible silicone grease (e.g., Bergeon 4509) onto each foam cushion
Allow the grease to absorb into the foam
Close the lid and rotate to distribute the grease evenly
The box is ready for use again
Storage:
Store in original packaging when not in use
Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight
