This is a generic gold hand set (hour, minute, and second hands) for the Rolex Submariner 126613 (two-tone model), specifically designed to fit the pinion sizes of the Caliber 3235 automatic movement. The hands feature an 18k gold plated finish, perfectly replicating the classic Mercedes hour hand and lollipop second hand design.
Material & Finish: Steel base with 18k yellow gold plating, offering a durable and brilliant appearance.
Movement Compatibility: Specifically designed for Rolex Caliber 3235 automatic movement, with hand tube inner diameters precisely matching the original hour wheel, minute wheel, and seconds pinion.
Classic Design:
Hour Hand: Iconic “Mercedes” style.
Minute Hand: Sleek sword shape.
Second Hand: Center sweep with luminous dot tip (Lollipop style).
Luminous Performance: Super-LumiNova® coating provides long-lasting green glow in low-light conditions.
Compatible Model: Rolex Submariner Date 126613 series (including 126613LB blue dial/bezel, 126613LN black dial/bezel, etc.), 41mm case diameter.
Q1: The second hand won‘t press onto its pinion or goes on crooked – what should I do?
A: The seconds pinion is the most delicate part of the cannon pinion assembly. Never force the hand, as the pinion will bend. First, inspect the second hand tube – a slight burr can be removed with a fine broach. Use Rodico to pick up the hand and center it under magnification before pressing. If you lack experience, seek professional assistance.
Q2: After installation, the hour and minute hands do not align at 12 o‘clock – how do I fix it?
A: This is a classic synchronization issue. Pull the crown to the hacking position and set the minute hand to 12 o’clock. Then re‑press the minute hand onto its pinion while ensuring the hour hand also points to 12. Rotate the crown through a full 12 hours to verify alignment at all hour positions. If the hands are already fully pressed, they must be removed with a hand remover and reinstalled – do not force them to align by twisting.
Q3: How long will the lume glow in the dark?
A: The hands use Super-LumiNova®, a photo‑luminescent material. After 10–20 minutes of exposure to a bright light (e.g., sunlight), the glow will last for several hours – initial brightness decays quickly, then a low glow persists much longer. This is not radioactive or self‑powered lume; the glow intensity depends entirely on prior light exposure. Compared with Rolex’s proprietary Chromalight, the difference is subtle and difficult to detect in daily use.
