The Bergeon 30097-BCT is a transparent plastic protective cover designed for watchmakers to safeguard movements, components, or tools during bench work. Featuring 6 individual divisions for organized storage, it has an internal diameter of 88 mm and provides 45 mm of interior height.
The cover is made from LURAN® (a high-impact polystyrene) for clarity and durability, while the base tray is made of polystyrene.
It is compatible with the extension cover N° 30097-RH for increased capacity, and replacement components (cover 30097-C and tray 30097-BT) are available separately.

3. Does it fit large pocket watch movements?
The internal height is 45mm and diameter 88mm. Most pocket watch movements (diameter <88mm) fit, but if thickness exceeds 45mm, use the 30097‑RH extension cover.
4. Is the material resistant to chemicals?
LURAN® and polystyrene have moderate resistance to common watch oils and solvents, but avoid prolonged contact with strong solvents (e.g., acetone, gasoline) to prevent aging or cracking.
5. How do I clean it?
Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, rinse with clean water, and dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners or hard brushes.
